www.nigeria.gov.ng is the official website of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. A website that has the history of Nigeria, information about the people of Nigeria, the Nigerian peoples and various cultures, the economy, the polity and other important information about the country, Nigeria; coupled with daily news about the socio-political happening in the country, Nigeria.

We don’t know when, but at the moment there is a link on the website to indecent sites at the bottom of the main page. We can’t say for sure how it got there. We don’t know for sure if it was hacked or it is just a mistake made by the site’s administrators; but, we can say this is a stain on Nigeria’s image in the world community.
