Lightbeam for web-tracking

Lightbeam by Firefox is a new extension/add-on that allows you see first and third party sites that are collecting information about your browsing activity, with and without your consent. Lightbeam uses interactive visualizations for easy monitoring of those monitoring you.
When you activate lightbeam and visit a website, sometimes called the first party, the add-on creates a real-time visualization of all the third parties that are active on that page. The visualization grows with every site you visit and every request made from your browser. In addition to the graph view, you can also see your data in a clock-view to examine connections over a 24-hour period or in  list view to drill down into individual sites.
This is not an average user application, but it's simple, easy, and an important utility to those who are concerned about their privacy while surfing the web. Web developers will find this helpful.
With lightbeam, you can block sites from reaching and tracking you online.
